Kishu Binchotan Charcoal by ILMA is a natural way to purify and remove impurities from drinking water and your home. Kishu Bichotan charcoal is commonly used in Japan and is produced naturally from tree branches.
Due to the porous structure of the Binchotan charcoal, it can absorb impurities and unwanted tastes such as chlorine from water and releases beneficial minerals like magnesium, calcium and iron. Don't worry, the charcoal will remain hard and not discolour the water!
Binchotan can also be used within your home to freshen indoor air, absorb dampness in wardrobes and cupboards. It can even remove odours from clothes and shoes.
To keep the charcoal stick clean and fresh, boil for up to five minutes every two weeks. Reuse over and over again for up to three months.
