Compostic was born five years ago in New Zealand by founder Jon Reed with a goal to eradicate traditional non-compostable plastic from home across the world. Jon believed that if he could create a range of products that were zero waste (like all Compostic products are!) while having the same convenience and functionality as cling wrap and resealable bags, then there is no longer any excuse to use traditional plastic!

Compostic products are the first in the market with the ability to fully break down in a home compost bin within 24 weeks, leaving behind a good natural soil enhancer.

They are made up of an optimised combination of high-quality biopolymers, certified non-toxic, non-GMO and home compostable by an independent testing agency. Compostic products are also packaged in certified compostable cardboard packaging and use only vegetable inks.
