Plant oils and waxes make up the bulk of most of Benecos cosmetics, as their composition is similar to that of skin lipids, and so they work to hydrate, regulate and regenerate the skin, without any of the cumulative side effects of traditional products. We particularly love the Benecos BB Cream, as the multi-functional product gives light coverage to the complexion while moisturising, mattifying and soothing the skin.
Benecos has formally advised us that they do not use pure palm oil. Their palm oil derivatives such as glycerol mainly comes from rapeseed oil. In their eyeshadows and vegan mascaras it is from karanja oil. All such palm oil compounds come from RSPO members, CITES or are certified by Ecocert, Green Palm.
