Warm up this Winter with another delicious recipe from Georgia Creer at The Blue Ingredient. This Scorched Banana Porridge is filled with nourishing ingredients to keep your body energised and your skin glowing, plus it is super quick and easy to make!
½ cup oats
1 cup water
1 tsp honey
½ tsp cinnamon
1 tsp coconut oil
½ tbsp slithered almonds
½ tbsp shredded coconut
1.Put oats and water into a saucer and place on a medium heat. Stir frequently until oats have absorbed the water and reached desired porridge consistency
2.Cut banana down the middle length-ways. In a pan heat coconut oil, and once melted place the banana in the pan and scorch for about a minute each side
3.Put porridge in a bowl. Sprinkle cinnamon, coconut, honey and place banana on porridge and enjoy!
