The Organic Version of NARS Orgasm!

Yes I have totally replaced them with their organic look-a-likes and the Zuii blush in Melon is the ideal certified organic, less expensive substitute for my Nars Orgasm but I'm totally biased so I asked one of our regular customers Madison to do this comparison for us!

Madison says "I have quite pale skin so when I do my make-up I cannot go without my blush to help my cheeks pop and make my cheekbones more defined. My favourite has always been the Nars Orgasm but I really wanted to find a chemical-free version with the same gorgeous colour. Nourished Life recommended I try the Zuii Organic Blush in Melon, which claims to be a similar colour as Nars, here is what I found!"

First off, I usually apply my Nars Orgasm with a soft brush, which blends very easily into my skin. It has a gorgeous soft, melon-pink colour with pink undertones, which is what I love about it so much. It gives a matte finish with little to no shimmer. I've never had a problem with it giving me irritation, although it can be quite heavy on top of my usual make-up which blocks my pores if I wear it for long periods of time, causing breakouts and occasionally dryness.

When I tried the Zuii Organic blush in Melon, again I applied it with a soft brush and I found it to be a very light, fine powder that blended perfectly into my skin. The colour was very similar and I found that it created a natural glow which brought my skin to life. It also has a bit more natural surface shimmer with warmer, more orange undertones, which really made my skin look vibrant and glowing.

The first time I tried my Melon blush, I wore it all day to a wedding and by the end of the night, my skin still felt fresh and like it could 'breathe' which showed as my pores were not clogged and I did not experience any breakouts. Since then, I have experienced no irritation or dryness with my Melon blush and would recommend it to people of all ages and skin tones.

I am totally in love my Melon blush and am so grateful that I have been able to find a toxin-free version of one of my favourite, 'can't live without' make-up products!
