100% Pure Mascara Review

Lucy, our marketing co-ordinater, asked her gorgeous sister Clara to trial and review the 100% Pure Black Tea Pigmented Mascara. Here is her very detailed review complete with striking before/ after snaps of her lush lashes.

I love my lashes and I'm always looking for products that will best accentuate them by making them look long and lush. I love the idea of switching to a natural makeup brand, but often I get stuck with products that are too thick, leaving my lashes feeling heavy and looking clumpy or just smudge after a few hours. I've heard so many good things about the 100% Pure mascara and now I can see why, because I am astounded with the results.

Before I had even applied the mascara I was excited since upon opening it I was hit with a deliciously fresh berry scent (it's made from fruit pigments), reminding me that this really is a 100% natural mascara. These pigments (black tea plus fruit extracts of blackberry, blueberry and raspberry) not only give the mascara a striking jet-black shade but are also rich in antioxidants. While you flutter your eyes, this ultra lengthening formula that contains Pro-vitamin B5, Vitamin E and protein must be so conditioning and strengthening the lashes!!

In applying the mascara I was happy to find the consistency was incredibly smooth and the chance of clumping looked very slim. And I was right! The mascara glided smoothly over my lashes, instantly lengthening and glossing them after just one coat. The brush was soft, yet firm, evenly coating and separating my lashes to give them a beautifully accentuated look. In fact, one of my mum's friends actually asked if I had eyelash extensions!

So my lashes looked fantastic, but they also felt light, as if I wasn't even wearing anything on them at all! And alongside all these other awesome benefits, this mascara is smudge proof. I went all day looking fresh and not once did I have to wipe away any dark shadows and flaky bits from under my eyes (never a good look!).

In have really sensitive skin and I find many mascaras can irritate my eyes however I had nothing of the sort with this mascara. And it's no wonder since this vegan, all natural formula doesn't contain any harmful toxins, synthetic chemicals, fragrances or hidden nasty ingredients of any sort.

Overall, with 100% Pure's Black Tea Pigmented Mascara my eyelashes not only look amazing but they feel amazing. And I feel amazing knowing the benefits my lashes are getting from using this product - I'm nourishing my lashes beautiful!
