Beware not to drink too many
"I bought these teas for my husband and a I in an effort to drink less coffee. We would drink 2-3 teas a day, including the night time tea. My husband couldn't sleep and found himself in a hypertensive state. Thought it was his medication so he sought medical help. I found I became edgy, and overwhelmed, not realising my blood pressure was climbing and also sought medical help. After a bit of research, excessive consumption of licorice root can raise blood pressure. As soon as we stopped, so did the symptoms. Lovely tasting teas, but should come with a warning."

"I was really expecting to love these teas, but I just didn't. I do like the brand Pukka and their Tulsi tea. However, these samples were a bit disappointing. The Three Mint wasn't that minty - I prefer having my loose leaf peppermint. All the others seemed to contain licorice root and aniseed or fennel seed, which give that sickly sweet feeling at the back of your throat. If you love that, great! But if you don't, it's a bit much!"
