    Melrose Australian Flaxseed Oil has a nutty, creamy, slightly bitter flavour and comes from Australian-grown Flaxseeds that have been cold-pressed to retain maximum nutrition and taste.

    Containing one of the highest, plant-derived concentrations of the essential fatty acid Omega-3, Flaxseed Oil is an ideal alternative to fish oil for vegans seeking to improve their general health and wellbeing. Offering recognised anti-inflammatory benefits, Omega 3s support the skin, hair, nails, heart and joints. Flaxseed Oil also contains Omega 6 fatty acids, which must be obtained through diet and support metabolism and hormone levels; Omega 9s, which are important for energy and brain function; and phytosterols, which help to minimise the amount of cholesterol absorbed by the body.

    As Flaxseed Oil is sensitive to heat and light, Melrose Australian Flaxseed Oil is put through a specialised fine-filtration process to ensure it is free of any naturally occurring substances that could result in spoilage. This means it can safely be stored at room temperature while retaining its nutritional profile.
