    Product Description
    The Herbs of Gold Gut Care is a comprehensive herbal and nutritional formula to support gastrointestinal health. Available in a delicious Vanilla flavoured powder, Gut Care can be enjoyed in either water or juice.

    Gut Care contains Aloe Vera and Licorice to help maintain healthy mucous linings in the digestive system. Licorice is traditionally used in Western herbal medicine as a demulcent to soothe irritated tissue including mucous membranes in the gastrointestinal tract. Added Calendula is also traditionally used in Western herbal medicine as an anti-inflammatory to help relieve mild gastrointestinal tract inflammation and support digestive system health.

    Gut Care also contains Saccharomyces boulardii (SB), a probiotic yeast that supports beneficial flora in the digestive system. SB has the ability to survive stomach acid and bile, and has good adherence to intestinal mucosa. L-Glutamine and SB are important for secretory immunoglobulin A (IgA), which helps prevent the attachment of bacteria to mucosal cells.

    Good gut care combination

    "A great combination of ingredients for gut health, I find it really convenient to have these all in one powder, rather than having to buy 5 different products. It's easy to mix into smoothies. I wouldn't add it to most of my green/fruity juices because it the vanilla flavouring doesn't really work with those flavours in my opinion. But it's nice in banana smoothies, mango smoothies and other milk/mylk-based drinks."
