The Eco Max Dish Brush is an environmentally-friendly dishwashing brush made from natural Coconut fibre (found in mature coconut husks), FSC certified timber that has been finished with a non-toxic sealer, and galvanised wire that won't rust.
An ideal alternative to plastic and chemically treated brushes, Coconut fibre is naturally antibacterial, resistant to mould and fungus, and won't scratch pots and pans. It is highly recommended for stainless steel, enamelware and cast iron*. In addition, Coconut fibre is able to absorb oil and grease from your dirty dishes rather than collecting them on the brush surface, which prevents the transfer of grime to other dishes as you wash. The absorbed grease and oil are then gradually rinsed out of the fibres by the warm water of the sink.
Fully biodegradable, the Eco Max Dish Brush can be added to your compost at the end of its life, where it will breakdown naturally. The remaining piece of wire can be recycled.

Works ok, but food gets stuck
"The brush does clean food off surfaces relatively well, at least as good as my previous dishbrush. But food gets stuck in the bristles and is difficult to get out. This is a little gross and makes the brush smell sometimes. I also don't like the cotton rope handle. Once it's wet it takes a long time to dry and can also smell sometimes. I won't buy this brush again even though it's eco-friendly and supports struggling women."

Food gets stuck
"It’s pretty good at removing food from plates and pans. But the food gets stuck in the bristles and is difficult to remove, not to mention a little gross. I probably won’t buy this again"
