Product Description

BioBag Compost Mate Bin Liners are ideal for managing food waste, helping you easily separate it from other types of waste. These breathable, compostable bags make pre-sorting food waste simple and hygienic for households. Designed with a convenient tie top, BioBags ensure good ventilation, allowing moisture to evaporate from the waste. As the moisture evaporates, the waste dries out, preventing it from rotting and reducing unpleasant odours.

BioBag Food Waste Bags are made from Mater-Bi, a resin derived from plants, vegetable oils, and compostable polymers. In a well-maintained composting environment, they fully decompose within 45 days.

Please note: The 8L bags feature handles and are intended for countertop compost caddies. The 10L, 20L, and 30L bags feature a wave top.

This design aligns with environmental standards and regulations, particularly in regions like Queensland and Western Australia, where compostable bags with handles are banned. The wave top allows for easy tying and closure, making it suitable for composting purposes.

Certified compostable according to European Standard EN 13432, US Standard ASTM D6400, and Australian Standard AS 4736.

How to use

Line your bin with the compostable liner, ensuring it fits snugly around the edges. When full, remove and dispose of it in your compost or green waste bin, following local guidelines.

Good idea - poor execution

"While I like the quality and feel of the liners, it is obvious the worker on the line must have been looking at their phone when they were running the deodoriser over them. The roll of these gave off the strongest diffused odour I have ever smelt - like oven cleaner on steroids. Gave me instant, and I mean instant asthma that stopped immediately I put them outside. Even ONE bag was overpowering. Fix the ridiculous amount of deodoriser (better for the environment, too) then I WOULD recommend these to a friend."
