"I love using this balm to double cleanse my combo skin. I don’t find it greasy on my skin or leaving a film after washing like other reviews I had read (I wash it off with a face cloth and warm water and then cleanse again with another cleanser). It is also a great make up remover and it smells lovely. I don’t think I’d use it as a stand alone cleanser but to double cleanse, it has been a nice addition to my routine."

I think that more acidic ingredients need to be added to cut through the grease. It is very hard to remove, so much so that I use micellar water to remove it. This balms formula needs a change. It does take off eye makeup but again, it needs effort to remove the cleanser itself. The skin juice brand is so much better than this one. Avoid."
"Received this cleansing balm recently with one of my orders as a free gift. I have used and loved the Skin Juice cleansing balm and I thought this would be similar to that, how once you add water to your face after applying it all over it emulsifies and becomes creamy and just melts away. It is not like that. At all. As another reviewer said, "it's like smearing duck fat all over your face" and it takes a lot of effort just to get it off your hands, even with handwash. Didn't do a great job of removing makeup either. I'm glad it was free, and I hate to throw things out that are barely used, but sadly it's in the bin. If you want a nice cleansing balm experience that actually works, try Skin Juice instead."
