Melrose Omega Cod Liver Oil is obtained from 100% wild, northern Atlantic (Icelandic) Cod and is a natural source of Omega 3 essential fatty acids, Vitamin A and Vitamin D3. With a light texture and appearance and containing a mild, natural orange flavour, it undergoes testing by an independent laboratory to ensure the absence of environmental and heavy metal contamination, and to guarantee its purity.
It contains Eeicosapentaenoic and Docosahexaenoic Acids (EPA and DHA), two of the Omega 3 fatty acids that must be obtained from the diet, which are essential to the healthy functioning of the brain, eyes, nervous system and heart. Vitamin A is important to maintaining healthy skin, immune and eye function, and Vitamin D is needed for calcium absorption in adults, and healthy bone growth and immunity in children.
