Founded in 2008, Karen Murrell was a pioneer in New Zealand’s natural makeup movement. Drawing on her experience working in the cosmetics department of Auckland’s prestigious Smith & Caughey's, and fuelled by a lifelong passion for beauty, she set out to create a lipstick that was clean, safe, and uncompromising in quality. After extensive research into alternative, naturally derived ingredients, she partnered with a specialist manufacturer in Australia to bring her vision to life.
A natural creative, Karen infuses her lipsticks with personal meaning - each shade is beautifully packaged and often named after flowers or moments that have inspired her journey.

With natural lipstick at the heart of the range, the Karen Murrell formula has been carefully refined to be clean, long-lasting, and nourishing. Infused with pure ingredients such as avocado and evening primrose oils, candelilla and carnauba wax, cinnamon, and sweet orange, each application conditions the lips while delivering vibrant, lasting colour.
