    Product Description

    Neti pots are used for nasal irrigation, a personal hygiene practice in which the nasal cavity is rinsed to remove excess mucus and debris from the nose and sinuses. This practice has been used in India for centuries as part of traditional yoga disciplines. The distinctive shape of the neti pot ensures an optimal flow rate for effectively cleansing the sinus passages.

    These porcelain stoneware neti pots are handcrafted in Vietnam, lead free, dishwasher safe, and have a capacity of approximately 200ml.

    Mix warm, distilled or previously boiled water with a saline solution. Fill the pot, lean over a sink, and tilt your head to one side. Insert the spout into your upper nostril and gently pour, letting the solution flow through your nasal passages and out the other nostril. Repeat on the other side, then blow your nose to clear any excess. Clean the neti pot after each use.

    Not fit for purpose

    "This pot looks beautiful, but its not fit for purpose. The shape and nossle are awkward, the pot is too tall and the nossle is too short for using as a neti pot. The nossle is also an irregular shape making it difficult to create a nice seal around the nostrils. Also, the pot holds only a small volume of water. A pot with a greater volume capacity, shorter body and longer nossle works much better for nose irrigation."
