Natural skincare ingredient, vanilla extract, comes from the tropical epiphytic orchid. The sweet, warm aroma is used in natural perfumes and natural skin care products for its soft, sensuous, calming fragrance. Vanilla beans are the dried, cured fruit pods of the orchid. Used in cooking, flavourings and natural skincare products.

Vegetable Glycerin is a natural humectant that attracts moisture to the skin and locks it in whilst cleansing the skin of dirt, makeup and other impurities and bacteria, encouraging clean, soft and supple skin.
It provides a non-irritating sanitisation, suitable for those with acne, eczema, psoriasis and sensitive skin and is extremely gentle yet effective in cleansing and moisturising the skin. Plus it is derived from vegetable oils so is 100% vegan.

Derived from retinol, vitamin A is an antioxidant. It is used in natural skincare products to stimulate skin rejuvenation and cell renewal. It works in natural skincare to effectively smooth and brighten the skin's surface, eliminating dead skin cells.

In natural skincare, the B vitamins help to maintain healthy skin tone. They are also helpful in relieving anxiety and stress, major contributing factors in some cases of acne.

Vitamin C is a natural anti-oxidant that smooths and replenishes fine lines and is essential for collagen production.

Natural skincare ingredient vitamin D comes in two main forms - vitamin D2 (or ergocalciferol) and vitamin D3 (or cholecalciferol).

Vitamin D3 is produced in skin exposed to sunlight, specifically ultraviolet B radiation. Vitamin D2 is derived from fungal and plant sources, and is not produced by the human body.

Vitamin E occurs naturally in wheatgerm oil. A powerful anti-oxidant that helps prevent wrinkles, stimulate blood circulation, regulate skin elasticity and promote cell renewal.

A key ingredient in many natural skin care products, this vitamin is essential for fighting free radicals, firming the skin and reducing the appearance of scars and wrinkles.
