Naturally Safe Cosmetics for Australia Day

There is nothing better than the Australian summer in my opinion, so for this Australia Day long weekend I have put together a guide to my favourite Aussie made natural and organic goodies, perfect for summertime. This includes natural sunscreen for the whole family, organic fake tan for getting that gorgeous summer glow safely, and the all-important insect repellent to keep those pesky bugs and insects away while you enjoy the beautiful weather and great outdoors.

Sunscreen

Whether you are after a sunscreen for face, body, baby or the whole family, there is a natural sunscreen to suit your needs. Unlike mainstream chemical sunscreens, natural sunscreens provide physical protection from the sun's rays thanks to minerals such as Zinc Oxide. In the harsh Australian climate it is important that we protect our skin from the sun as much as possible. Choose from plain, untinted formulas or natural BB creams which provide both coverage and sun protection!

With all sunscreens avoid contact with eyes and if irritation persists discontinue use. Sunscreen is only one part of sun protection. Wear protective clothing, hats and sunglasses when exposed to the sun, and stay in the shade where possible. Prolonged high-risk sun exposure should be avoided. Frequent reapplication and use in accordance with the directions is required for effective sun protection. Always read the label and use only as directed.

Natural fake tan
