Suffer from dry skin issues? I am really excited about this latest discovery from Happy Skin, read on to find out all about their Over The Moon Cream and its benefits for dry skin conditions.
One of the (many!) things I love about finding amazing new brands for you to try, is really finding out the story behind the brand. I love having a real chat to the faces behind the company and learning about what got them started on their toxin free journey! That's why I'm so excited to tell you guys about Happy Skincare's "Over The Moon" Rich Repair Cream. Aaron and Phoebe, the husband and wife duo from Newcastle behind Happy Skincare, are so passionate about bringing you the best natural, toxin free and cruelty free beauty products imaginable, and that passion really translates through to their products! This very special cream has such a wonderful story behind it, and if you suffer from dry skin on your face or patches over the hands and body, then this new cream may be your answer!
What makes the Over The Moon Cream so good?!
The Over the Moon Rich Repair Cream is a deeply hydrating daily moisturising cream that both firms and softens the skin. This beautiful, unique formula really soaks into the skin quickly and doesn't feel heavy or greasy - which is often a problem with heavy-duty moisturisers!
Happy Skincare's "Over The Moon" Rich Repair Cream uses Vitamin B3 to help firm and smooth your skin (Vitamin B3 is also known to help protect against pigmentation) and Vitamin E to help dry skin. It also contains the beauty mineral MSM (methylsulfonylmethane), an organic sulfur compound naturally derived during the earth's rain cycle and known for its radically improvement to skin health. But that's not all, it also includes Rose Otto, Shea Butter and Kakadu plum which all work together to help create a barrier function to lock all that moisture in. Plus it's AMAZING for sensitive skin because it's free from fragrances!
A little bit of this cream does go a long way, simply apply to your face after cleansing and toning for intense moisturisation! You can also use on dry patches over your body like the feet and behind the knees as well as on your hands and for those who don't have dry skin, you can use this cream during the day by applying a very small amount or in the evenings as an overnight skin treatment.
Happy Skincare have also been accredited by the Vegan Society, a feat that the team told me was a real challenge. As you guys know, there are plenty of hidden nasties when it comes to vegan ingredients, so Phoebe and Aaron had to work through every ingredient supply chain with the finest of fine toothed combs!
The name "Over the Moon" Rich Repair Cream is so fitting, because that's how it makes you feel- over the moon! It was only released in January, but it has already become a best seller thanks to the devotion of the original cream's fan base (this is actually an evolution of the Happy Skincare original stretch mark cream).
If you are excited to try more of the amazing Happy Skincare range, they have a diverse range of skincare products to suit every skin type! I personally love the Pig in Mud Mineral Mask which caters to normal, dry and sensitive skin! It contains a whole host of nourishing ingredients such as silica, magnesium and pomegranate to feed your complexion and leave you with glowing skin! I recommend using Happy Skincare's Happy Skincare Mask Applicator Brush to smooth your mask on so there's no need to get your hands messy! All you need to do is mix the mask powder with water to create the consistency you require then smooth over a clean face then wait for 10 minutes or until the mask is dry then wash off!
They also have a great range of oils for face and body. I love the Happy Skincare 'All Things Nice' Multipurpose Balm which is rich and soothing for sore and dry spots all over the body so handy to keep in your bag for emergencies.
I also love Happy Skincare's Woohoo! All Natural Deodorant Paste which helps kills bacteria that causes body odour, keeping you feeling and smelling fresh all day! For more on natural deodorants, check out this blog post I wrote here!
