My Weekly Favourites - Charcoal Based Products

Did you know that charcoal can be used as an ingredient in natural beauty and skincare? Charcoal is actually amazing for your skin because it attracts dirt and impurities, drawing them out of your skin to give you a thorough cleanse and clear complexion! It's also great for dental health! This week I've been crazy about trying out charcoal products and I have to tell you, I've been loving them! These are a few of my favourites:

1. Morihata Authentic Kishu Binchotan Water Purifier

As charcoal naturally absorbs chemicals, placing a stick of this Kishu Binchota Charcoal in your jug of water will provide you with cleaner, purified water. It's so easy to use! 2. Life Basics Charcoal Cleanse Bar

I just love using this unscented Charcoal cleanse bar because not only does the charcoal help my skin to stay squeaky clean, but it's also super hydrating! This also comes in peppermint, Lemongrass, Pink Clay & White Clay so there is something for every skin type.

3. Life Basics Konjac Sponge - Bamboo Charcoal

If you like using facial sponges then I know you will love this Konjac Sponge because it gently exfoliates your skin without irritating it, leaving you with a beautiful, glowing complexion! Made with charcoal bamboo, this little sponge neutralises skin's pH with its alkaline properties and magnetically pulls out any dirt or grime! To use, just run the sponge under the tap to fully saturate it, then use it to gently massage your face. It can be used with or without your favourite cleaner and you can use it to refresh and wake up your skin in the morning or clean off your make up at night, it's that easy!

4. Binchotan Charcoal Toothbrush

Charcoal is not only beneficial for your skin, but also your teeth! This Binchotan Toothbrush is one of my absolute favourites because may whiten teeth, deodorise the entire mouth, remove plaque and prevent bacteria! It may even help neutralise the toxins from your tap water! You can just add a little toothpaste and brush your teeth as normal.
