Turmeric is one of those natural superfoods that you just can't escape nowadays, popping up in everything from our skin care to our organic teas. But there's a good reason why Turmeric has finally reached mainstream popularity, and that's because this powerful natural spice boasts some incredible healing properties. Used for thousands of years in traditional medicinal treatments around the world, Turmeric is known for its ability to soothe inflammation and promote healing, and one of my favourite ways to get my daily dose of Turmeric is through a delicious cup of natural, spice-infused tea which is great at any time of day.

Benefits of Turmeric Tea

One of my favourite things about Turmeric is that it's a natural anti-inflammatory, so it's amazing for supporting our overall health. Turmeric can help heal so many ailments, from treating bowel troubles, arthritis, joint pain, viral colds and the flu. It's been used for over 4000 years as a medicinal treatment in traditional Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine and it truly has stood the test of time. To find out more about the benefits of Turmeric and why it really is a health and beauty all-rounder, read my blog post here!

Natural Turmeric Teas

Zen TURMERIC Matcha Green Tea Powder
A delicious take on the popular Matcha Green Tea, the Zen TURMERIC Matcha Green Tea Powder contains an aromatic blend of Matcha and Turmeric as well as a hint of Cinnamon, Nutmeg and Black Pepper to make the perfect earthy tea or latte. The natural energy-boosting properties of Matcha combined with stimulating Turmeric make this blend ideal for those needing to boost focus, balance mood and reduce stress. Perfect for making a hot tea, golden latte, iced tea or smoothie, it can be sweetened with honey or stevia for comforting warmth.

Innocent Beans Innocent Spiced Turmeric
One of my favourite Turmeric teas is the Innocent Beans Innocent Spiced Turmeric. This blend is actually more of a herbal coffee than a traditional tea, and although it contains no caffeine it uses Turmeric, Cinnamon, Ginger, Barley and Carob to boost your energy levels the natural way, so it's great if you're looking to replace your daily coffee with something a bit better for you.

Golden Grind Turmeric Blend Hero
The Golden Grind Turmeric Blend Hero is a pretty amazing product in that it's packed with Turmeric to deliver those anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and antioxidant rich properties, but it also contains Black Pepper which can help to aid the body's absorption of Turmeric. With Cinnamon to help control cravings, this Vegan and Gluten Free blend can be mixed with hot water and warm milk to make a delicious, creamy Turmeric latte.

Stay Golden Turmeric Chai Latte
The Stay Golden Turmeric Chai Latte is a great one is you really want to reap the digestive benefits of Turmeric, as this blend adds Ginger into the mix which helps to aid with digestive issues or nausea. Another reason why I love this Turmeric tea is that it contains aromatic Vanilla for optimal serotonin and dopamine production, also known as the "feel good" hormones. You can mix this one with coconut oil and warm milk for a comforting treat.

Pukka Tea Turmeric Gold
If you're feeling a bit under the weather, the Pukka Tea Turmeric Gold blend is great for helping to boost immunity. Lemon Tulsi, Cardamom and Whole Leaf Green Tea are blended with the golden spice in this zesty tea to help renew and protect the body and really boost the medicinal qualities of the Turmeric. These Certified Organic, biodegradable tea bags are great for keeping at home or work for a quick, easy-to-make cup of Turmeric tea.

WelleCo The Super Elixir Alkalising Greens
While it's not technically a tea, the WelleCo The Super Elixir Alkalising Greens can be blended in with smoothies and even just with water to give your body its daily dose of Turmeric, greens and 45 other key ingredients! The Turmeric hit is great for inflammation and immunity, while Pomegranate neutralises free radicals, Kelp Iodine stimulates the metabolism and Aloe Vera improves skin health.

Supercharged Food Golden Gut Powder
The Supercharged Food Golden Gut Powder is another great Turmeric powder to mix in with juice, smoothies or on top of meals, combining the powers of Turmeric with the equally amazing qualities of Diatomaceous Earth, the key ingredient in the Heal Your Gut range. Diatomaceous Earth is rich in Silica which essential to good gut health, and the added Turmeric helps to boost its gut-healing, anti-inflammatory properties, not to mention that its spicy flavour tastes delicious mixed in with porridges and soups.
